I’m an increasingly disabled, chronically & mentally ill unemployable impoverished trans woman who desperately needs help to survive another hellish 40°c british summer. my health conditions are dramatically worsened by both heat and sunlight in ways that could have potentially fatal consequences. I’m over a year into trying to get PIP (uk disability benefits) & am waiting to have a court hearing to challenge them denying me the money that I need to survive, and this lack has led to serious deterioration in my health. I was recently hospitalised twice in 1 week & have suffered potentially permanent damage to my digestive system because I’ve not been able to afford to eat for such a long time. I need £150 bare minimum but ideally £300 so that I can buy medications, uv protective equipment, heat-appropriate clothing that still covers my skin, transport to & from doctors appointments, vitamin supplements etc etc. I’ll also be moving half way across the country away from my friends & family to a small rural town without adequate medical facilities to save money long term in a few months, and I simply cannot afford to both eat, look after my physical & mental health, AND make the move necessary to ensure my long term survival
